The internet, however, has been buzzing not just about the historic win of the co-hosts but also about an unexpected guest in the stands – a doppelganger of the legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni.
Social media has been flooded with photos of the lookalike, who sported an uncanny resemblance to the former Indian captain. With a long beard, a white headscarf, a white Kurta, and sunglasses, the man in the crowd looked exactly like MS Dhoni.
USA Outclass Pakistan
Talking about the match, putting to batting first, Pakistan set a target of 160 runs. In reply, the USA chased the target with remarkable composure, tying the score with a last-ball thriller in the final over.
With the scores tied, the match went into a tense Super Over. American power hitter Alex Jones rose to the occasion with his aggressive batting, setting a target of 19 runs for Pakistan.
