New Zealand regular captain, Kane Williamson has a hip injury and is also in a race to be fit for the two-match Test series against the West Indies in December.

New Zealand, on Monday, announced the T20I as well as the Test Squad for the upcoming home series. Devon Conway has earned his maiden New Zealand call-up for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies. Along with Conway, Kyle Jamieson has also earned his maiden call-up for the T20 side.

The hosts have also rested their regular captain Kane Williamson and pace spearhead Trent Boult for the T20I series, starting on November 27. Both of them have returned from the UAE and are currently under quarantine. They had to stay in the bio-bubble during the entire tournament.
