‘No Sifarish Culture Will Be Accepted’ – Mohsin Naqvi Declares After Becoming PCB Chairman
Mohsin Naqvi has becomes the new chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board.
Mohsin Naqvi was appointed as the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday, February 6th. He will remain in the role for the next three years after taking over the reins from Zaka Ashraf.
Meanwhile, upon resuming his position, Mohsin Naqvi unequivocally stated that the era of favouritism within the Pakistan Cricket Board is over, affirming that from now on player selection will be solely based on talent.
The newly appointed chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board has also emphasized their interest in considering foreign coaches if necessary in the future, expressing a strong commitment to steering Pakistan cricket in the right direction.

“No sifarish culture will be accepted in PCB now. I’m very much concerned for the Pakistan Cricket Team. I want to bring matters of Pakistan Cricket on the right path. We will not hesitate to appoint foreign coaches for Pakistan in case required.”
