No Warm-Up Matches for Pakistan, England and New Zealand Ahead of T20 World Cup 2024

Pakistan, England and New Zealand are not playing any warm-up games before T20 World Cup 2024.

The T20 World Cup 2024 is heating up with the co-hosting duties shared between the West Indies and the USA.

While the main event kicks off on June 1st, the ICC has unveiled the schedule for the warm-up matches. Interestingly, Pakistan, England and New Zealand will not be playing any warm-up fixtures before the mega event.

This decision has been taken while keeping in mind their already packed schedule. The Men in Green recently completed a three-match T20 series against Ireland and are gearing up for a four-match T20 series against England starting May 22nd.

These matches provide ample opportunity for Pakistan and England to refine their strategies and assess their match fitness before the World Cup.

Meanwhile, India has opted for a single warm-up match against Bangladesh, scheduled for June 1st. This approach suggests India might be prioritizing rest and recovery after their busy IPL 2024 season.
