ODI World Cup 2023: Kolkata Man Arrested for Selling ₹2,500 Tickets at ₹11,000 for India vs South Africa Match
A Kolkata man named Ankit Agarwal has been arrested for selling India vs South Africa tickets in black.

Kolkata police on Tuesday (October 31) arrested a man in the city for selling ICC World Cup 2023 match tickets in black.
The accused, Ankit Agarwal, was found selling tickets with a face value of ₹2,500 at a marked-up price of ₹11,000 for the India vs South Africa match at Eden Gardens on November 5. The Kolkata police seized 20 of these tickets from him.
Eden Gardens, in this edition, is hosting five matches, among them one of the two semi-finals. Ticket prices for the India vs South Africa match and the semi-final have been fixed at Rs 900 for the upper tier.
However, for seats in D and H Blocks, fans will need to pay Rs 1,500, while C and K Blocks are priced at Rs 2,500. The association has set the highest ticket price of Rs 3,000 for the India vs South Africa match and the semi-finals in B and L Blocks.
