Pakistan Cricketers Mocked for Using Mattresses During Catching Practice

At this moment, it’s fair to say that the Pakistan cricket team is entertaining fans more off the field than on it. 

A video that recently went viral on social media in which Imam Ul Haq and several Pakistan cricketers were spotted doing catching practice using a solid mattress on the field.

This video quickly went viral on social media, with some Pakistani fans commenting that the team is leaving no stone unturned in embarrassing themselves, while others sarcastically asked if they plan to use mattresses during official matches.

PCB Introduces Yo-Yo Test

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reintroduced the Yo-Yo test. Passing this test is now mandatory for any player wishing to represent the Pakistan national cricket team.  

The move comes in response to Pakistan’s group stage elimination in the 2024 T20 World Cup, which took place in the USA and West Indies.
