Pakistani YouTuber Killed in Karachi While Filming Vlog During IND vs PAK Match
Pakistani YouTuber was shot dead by security guard during IND vs PAK Clash in T20 World Cup 2024.
A cricket fan’s excitement for the high-voltage T20 World Cup 2024 clash between India and Pakistan turned into a tragedy in Karachi, Pakistan. A YouTuber, identified as Saad Ahmed, was shot dead by a security guard while filming a vlog in a mobile phone market.
The incident occurred on Sunday, the same day as the much-anticipated match played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. According to Pakistani media reports, Saad was interviewing shopkeepers at the market as part of his vlog in the lead-up to the big game.
However, when he approached a security guard for an interview, things took a turn for the worse. The reports claim the guard became enraged with Saad’s attempt to film him and possibly due to the microphone. This escalation tragically resulted in the guard shooting Saad. Though rushed to the hospital, Saad was declared dead on arrival.
A friend of Saad, interviewed by GeoTV, expressed grief, highlighting that Saad was the sole breadwinner of his family. As for the match, India beat Pakistan by six runs in a nail-biter at New York to register their second consecutive win in the T20 World Cup 2024.
