Australian T20 captain, Pat Cummins, has revealed he frequently receives messages from Indian fans requesting financial assistance for medical bills. In a recent interview, Cummins described these messages as “unusual” and “unsettling.”
This comes despite Cummins’ well-publicized generosity towards India. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he donated a significant sum ($50,000) to the PM Cares Fund to aid the country’s fight against the virus, specifically for procuring oxygen cylinders during a critical shortage.
