PSL 2025: Peshawar Zalmi Sign Ihsanullah Ahead of Season Opener
Peshawar Zalmi have added fast bowler Ihsanullah to their squad just before the start of PSL 2025.
The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is here, and even before playing their first match, Peshawar Zalmi have made a big move by signing Ihsanullah for the season. The young fast bowler, who impressed everyone in PSL 2023, has officially joined the squad.
Ihsanullah Joins Peshawar Zalmi Squad
Ihsanullah was recently spotted wearing the Peshawar Zalmi kit, and now the franchise has confirmed his inclusion. Javed Afridi, the team’s chairman, welcomed Ihsanullah by presenting him with the official jersey and shared the news on social media.
Earlier, Ihsanullah was not picked by his former team, Multan Sultans, due to his long injury break. He even announced that he would not take part in this year’s PSL. However, things changed when rumors started after fans saw him training in Zalmi colors — and now it’s official.
Ihsanullah’s PSL Journey
Ihsanullah became a popular name during PSL 2023 when he played for Multan Sultans. He bowled with pace, took regular wickets, and ended the season with 22 wickets at an economy rate of 7.59. His strong performance helped him earn a place in the Pakistan national team, where he made his T20I debut against Afghanistan.
