The 24th match of the Indian Premier League is being played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Earlier in the match, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Batting first, Rajasthan Royals posted 171 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Jos Buttler (41 off 32) and Sanju Samson (42 off 27) were there top performers with the bat. Shivam Dube (35 off 31) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (32 off 20) also contributed well for their team.
For Mumbai Indians, Rahul Chahar was the highest wicket taker with two wickets. Chahar, who is amongst the highest wicket-takers in IPL 2021, got rid of Jos Buttler, followed by his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal. The 21-year old sent a fiery send-off to Jaiswal as his wicket came two balls after conceding a six.

The third delivery of that over saw Jaiswal playing a slog-sweep for six; however, two balls later, he wanted to defend, but managed to get a leading edge that spooned to Rahul Chahar. Chahar expressed his frustration at getting the wicket after conceding a maximum and even looked uttering some words, which are clearly not audible.

The video is getting viral on social media with many showing disappointment with Chahar’s behavior. While many are calling it attitude and arrogance, few are asking him to remain calm in such situations.
Twitter Reactions:
Earlier, Chahar gave a much-needed breakthrough to his team by picking the crucial wicket of Jos Buttler. It all happened in the 7th over of first inning when Chahar trapped Buttler by tossing the next ball up ever so slowly making Jos Buttler dance down the track. And as expected Buttler fell into the trap as he failed to get anywhere near the pitch.
Mumbai Indians are currently playing their sixth match of the tournament. They have won only two matches from the five they played so far and would be looking for more runs to make a jump on the points table.
