RCB Batter Slams Match-Saving Century vs New Zealand Ahead of IPL 2024

RCB batter Cameron Green smashed a century against New Zealand.

Australia’s all-rounder Cameron Green came to the rescue with a superb unbeaten century, his second in Test matches, guiding his team out of trouble after an early collapse to 89-4 against New Zealand in Wellington.

As the day drew to a close, Australia finished their innings at 279/9, primarily thanks to Green’s aggressive batting, marked by 16 fours, with valuable support from Mitchell Marsh (40).

Meanwhile, Matt Henry led the bowling charge for New Zealand, securing four wickets, while William O’Rourke and Scott Kuggeleijn contributed with two wickets apiece.

While Steve Smith (31) and Usman Khawaja (33) laid a strong foundation, they couldn’t convert it into substantial scores. Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head’s early dismissals further compounded Australia’s batting woes.
