RCB Fans Accused of Harassing CSK Fangirls and Families Outside Chinnaswamy Stadium
RCB fans accused of harassing opposing supporters outside stadium.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) thrilling win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK), securing their playoff berth, was unfortunately overshadowed by reports of unruly behaviour from some RCB fans outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Social media was flooded with accusations of harassment directed towards CSK fans, particularly women and families. The CSK official fan army expressed their disappointment, stating that the “treatment we witnessed for all the women, children and families” was unacceptable and did not reflect the spirit of Bengaluru.
A female CSK fan described feeling unsafe wearing her team’s jersey and being subjected to verbal abuse alongside other fans.
These reports paint a disturbing picture and raise serious concerns about fan safety and the overall atmosphere surrounding the cash-rich league. The Bengaluru police have not yet issued a statement, but an investigation into these allegations is essential.
