Australia’s star batter Steve Smith has achieved another milestone in his career. He has now taken more outfield catches than India’s Virat Kohli in international cricket.
Steve Smith Moves Ahead of Kohli
Smith took his 330th international catch in the first ODI against Sri Lanka. With this, he moved up to sixth place on the all-time list, surpassing Kohli, who has 329 catches. Smith now sits ahead of cricket legends like Joe Root, Graeme Smith, and Stephen Fleming.
The top five players in this list are Mahela Jayawardene, Ricky Ponting, Ross Taylor, Jacques Kallis, and Rahul Dravid. Smith is now just four catches behind Dravid and eight behind Kallis.
