SRH vs RR: Why Trent Boult Is Not Playing Today’s IPL 2025 Match?
Trent Boult is not playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 as he was picked by Mumbai Indians after being released before the mega auction.

The second match of IPL 2025 is being played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on March 23. This is a day match as part of a double-header.
SRH Off to a Flying Start
Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to bowl first. However, this decision did not work well for them. Sunrisers Hyderabad made a strong start, scoring 94 runs in the powerplay while losing only one wicket.
Why is Trent Boult Missing?
Many fans were expecting to see Trent Boult leading Rajasthan’s bowling attack, but he is no longer part of the team. Rajasthan Royals released Boult before the IPL 2025 mega auction, and he was picked by Mumbai Indians (MI).
Now, Trent Boult will play for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025, just like he did in the past. Rajasthan Royals fans will have to adjust to watching him bowl for a different team this season.
