There’s No Unity in Pakistan Cricket Team: Gary Kirsten Exposes Babar Azam & Co.
Gary Kirsten said that the Pakistan cricket team is divided, with no one supporting each other.

Gary Kirsten, Pakistan’s white-ball coach, has made a startling revelation about the Pakistan cricket team, claiming that the entire team is deeply divided with no mutual support.
Gary Kirsten’s statement came in the wake of Pakistan’s exit from the group stage of the T20 World Cup 2024. Defeats to the USA and archrivals India severely dented their hopes of progressing to the Super Eight.
Even though they won against Canada and Ireland, the USA had already advanced to the Super 8s after a dramatic Super Over victory against Pakistan. A washed-out match against Ireland also contributed to their qualification.
However, the atmosphere within the Pakistan cricket team is far from ideal, despite claims from players, including captain Babar Azam, about unity. Gary Kirsten has now revealed a completely different reality.
Gary Kirsten remarked that he has never witnessed a situation like this before with any other cricket team. Here’s what the Pakistan head coach said:
“There’s no unity in Pakistan’s team. They call it a team, but it isn’t a team. They aren’t supporting each other; everyone is separated, left and right. I’ve worked with many teams, but I’ve never seen such a situation.”
Gary Kirsten will return home following Pakistan’s elimination from the T20 World Cup 2024, while some Pakistani cricketers, including captain Babar Azam, will be vacationing in London before flying back home.
