‘Useless’ – Wasim Akram Lashes Out at Jason Roy for Fighting with Iftikhar Ahmed
Jason Roy engaged in a heated exchange with Iftikhar Ahmed in recent PSL 2024 match
Pakistan cricket icon, Wasim Akram, lashed out at Jason Roy for his involvement in a heated exchange with Iftikhar Ahmed during the recent Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans.
Things got spicy in the third over of the second innings when Jason Roy and Iftikhar Ahmed had a heated exchange over a potential LBW review. Multan’s captain Rizwan tried to cool things down, but it was pretty intense out there. Roy ended up getting out after scoring just three runs.
Wasim Akram further stated that Jason Roy needs to show more respect towards Pakistan players and avoid getting into fights on the field, pointing out that this isn’t the first time Roy has displayed such behaviour.
Here’s what Waism Akram said on A Sports:
“Jason Roy must know he is in Pakistan. He has to respect our players and our culture. Why was he angry after getting out? It was his own mistake, and his anger was useless. He does it regularly”
