Haris Rauf had a heated exchange with a journalist on being asked about the pack of aggression during India-Pakistan matches
Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf had a heated exchange with a journalist after he was questioned about the lack of aggression from the Pakistan cricket team during their matches against the archrival India.
In a press conference prior to their India tour, Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf said that the team is not going on any war against India but play a cricket match and they do show aggression when needed.
Here’s what Haris Rauf had to say on being asked about the pack of aggression during India-Pakistan matches:
“Cricket Khel rahe hai, Jung thodi lagi hui hai. [Why should I go and fight with Indians? It is cricket and not war.]”

Rauf was ruled out of Pakistan’s final Super 4 match against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 due to a shoulder injury. However, now he has completed his recovery and has been added to Pakistan World Cup squad.
However, Pakistan have suffered a big blow after their pace sensation Naseem Shah was out of the prestigious event. Hasan Ali has been named in the World Cup squad of Pakistan as Naseem Shah’s replacement.
