Former Pakistan cricketer and commentator Ramiz Raja made headlines with a funny slip of the tongue during the post-match presentation of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Tuesday, April 22.
Hosting the presentation ceremony after the Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars match in Multan, Ramiz accidentally referred to the PSL as the “IPL” while announcing the ‘Catch of the Match’ award.
The award went to Multan’s pacer Joshua Little for his brilliant catch to dismiss Fakhar Zaman. While praising the effort, Ramiz said, “What a catch! Probably the catch of the HBL IPL,” instead of saying “HBL PSL.” He didn’t correct himself, and the clip quickly went viral online, sparking a meme fest across social media platforms.
