Both Teams Made One Change In Their Playing XI

As long as the toss is concerned, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have won the it and chosen to bowl first against the Rajasthan Royals. RCB skipper Virat Kohli said that having seen the past few games at the Wankhede Stadium, chasing is the best option whether there’s dew or not. He said that he was confident that they can chase anything down.

“Going to bowl. Have seen results here whether there’s dew or not. Confident we can chase anything down. Try and exploit whatever we can with the new ball. Very exciting for me as a batsman but the bowlers will have to adjust. Have experienced conditions totally opposite in Chennai. Just one change. Richardson replaces Patidar. Has been bowling well in the BBL,” Kohli said.

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson, on the other hand, whose team has batted second in all their three games said that batting first will be a good experience for their batsmen.

“Will be a good experience for the batsmen to bat first. It’s evenly balanced, we just need to play some good cricket. It’s all about playing with the heart. Ups and downs are going to happen in IPL. Important to trust yourself and back your teammates. One change, Gopal replaces Unadkat,” Sanju Samson said at the toss.

Both teams made one change each. While RCB brought in Australian pacer Kane Richardson in place of Rajat Patidar, the Royals brought in RCB’s nemesis Shreyas Gopal in place of Jaydev Unadkat.
