Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has reacted to the terror attack in Pahalgam that killed at least 26 civilians, including tourists. The attack, which happened on Tuesday at the popular Baisaran meadow in Kashmir, is being called the worst since the Pulwama strike in 2019.
Kohli took to Instagram to express his grief. He wrote, “Deeply saddened by the heinous attack in Pahalgam on innocent people. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Praying for peace and strength to families of all those who lost their lives and justice to be served for this cruel act.”
Other cricketers like KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, and Anil Kumble also shared their sorrow. Gill said such violence has no place in the country, while Rahul and Kumble prayed for peace and strength for the affected families.
