Gujarat Giants registered a commanding 81-run victory over UP Warriorz at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium. Beth Mooney led the charge with a magnificent unbeaten 96 off 59 balls, smashing 17 boundaries.
Harleen Deol provided solid support with a 32-ball 45, while Deandra Dottin’s quickfire 17 off 8 balls helped Gujarat post 186/5 in 20 overs. UP Warriorz bowlers struggled to contain the runs, with Sophie Ecclestone picking up 2 wickets for 34 runs.
UP Warriorz had a disastrous start, losing three wickets inside the first four overs. Deandra Dottin struck twice in her first over, dismissing Kiran Navgire and Georgia Voll for ducks.
