Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women defeated Delhi Capitals Women by 8 wickets in the 4th match of the WPL 2025.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB-W) registered a comfortable eight-wicket win over Delhi Capitals (DC-W) in the fourth match of WPL 2025 at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. Smriti Mandhana led from the front with a brilliant 81 off 47 balls, guiding RCB to their second win of the season.
DC Struggle to 141 All Out
Delhi Capitals Women, after being put to bat first, struggled throughout their innings and were bowled out for 141 in 19.3 overs. While Jemimah Rodrigues (34 off 22) and Sarah Bryce (23 off 19) showed some fight, DC kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
RCB’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance, with Renuka Singh (3/23) and Georgia Wareham (3/25) leading the attack. Kim Garth (2/19) and Ekta Bisht (2/35) also chipped in as DC failed to build partnerships.
Smriti Mandhana’s Blazing Knock Seals the Chase
In response, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women’s openers Smriti Mandhana and Danielle Wyatt-Hodge gave their team a flying start with a 107-run opening stand. While Wyatt-Hodge made 42 off 33, Mandhana stole the show with an explosive 81 off 47, laced with 10 fours and 3 sixes.
Even though DC managed to dismiss both openers, Ellyse Perry (7) and Richa Ghosh (11)** ensured RCB reached the target comfortably in 16.2 overs.
