WTC 2023: Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Suryakumar Yadav Touch Down in England for WTC Final; BCCI Shares Exclusive Pictures
The trio of Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Suryakumar Yadav have touched down in England ahead of the WTC Final.
Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, along with Ishan Kishan, as well as youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal, has reached London and joined up with the rest of their teammates ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
Providing an update, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a picture of Rohit Sharma on their official Twitter account, along with the caption:

Notably, team India’s standby list for the WTC final underwent a change with Yashasvi Jaiswal replacing Ruturaj Gaikwad. Initially, Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav, and Delhi Capitals’ pacet Mukesh Kumar were part of the three-man standby list for the marquee event.

At the same time, following their appearance in the IPL 2023 final, players like Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami, KS Bharat, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ajinkya Rahane are likely to join their teammates soon in the UK.
The final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 will be played at the Oval in London from June 7-11 where Rohit Sharma & Co. will face Australia. The Pat Cummins-led side finished at the top of the WTC 2021-23 points table, while India secured the second spot.
