The former captain of the Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, has completed 100 sixes in T20 cricket at his fortress, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Rohit Sharma achieved this milestone during the recent IPL 2024 match against RCB.

Heading into this match, Rohit Sharma’s tally stood at 97 sixes at Wankhede Stadium. The moment came in the seventh over when he launched Vyshak Vijay Kumar’s full toss over midwicket, marking his 100th six.

Rohit Sharma made history as the first batter to reach 100 sixes in T20 at Wankhede Stadium. No other player has accomplished this feat in cricket history.

Chasing 197, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan got the Mumbai Indians off to a roaring start, crafting a blistering 101-run partnership in just 53 balls for the opening wicket.

Kishan went on to score 69 runs off 34 balls, while Sharma remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 19 balls at the time of reporting. Earlier, RCB put a mammoth 196 runs on the board for the loss of eight wickets after being put to bat first.
