List of Players With Most IPL Centuries in Losing Causes

Virat Kohli has the most centuries in losing causes in IPL history.

Virat Kohli lit up Jaipur with his 8th IPL hundred on Saturday. Battling against the Rajasthan Royals, the former RCB captain scored his first century of the season in 67 balls.

However, it all went in vain as Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat RCB by six wickets, securing their fourth consecutive win in IPL 2024.

With this, the RCB batting giant adds an unwanted record to his name in the cash-rich League. The 35-year-old now holds the record for the most IPL centuries in matches ending in defeat.

With his latest century against Rajasthan Royals, Kohli’s count rises to three centuries in losing cause, surpassing both Sanju Samson and the South African legend Hashim Amla.
