Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is one of the newest franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL), launched in 2022. It is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and is owned by the RPSG Group, which aims to build a strong and successful team in the IPL.

Since its inception, LSG has shown promise, making it to the playoffs in both 2022 and 2023. However, despite strong performances in the initial seasons, LSG faced challenges in the 2024 edition and missed the playoffs berth. 

The team is known for its vibrant colours of navy blue and gold, with fans rallying around the slogan “Adab Se Harayenge,” which translates to “Will Beat Then With Elegance.” 

They have built a huge fan army, which comes in a large number to support the team. The fan army of Lucknow Super Giants is called ‘LSG Brigade’ 

LSG’s home ground is the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, which has a seating capacity of around 50,000. The stadium creates an exciting atmosphere during matches, with passionate fans cheering for their team.
