Lucknow Super Giants are up against a strong bowling attack in their latest match against Delhi Capitals, looking to set a big total. Nicholas Pooran was leading the charge with his explosive batting, but Mitchell Starc had other plans. The Australian speedster finally got his revenge in the 15th over, cleaning up Pooran with a perfect delivery and sending the stumps flying.
Mitchell Starc Strikes Back
It all happened on the fifth ball of the 15th over. Nicholas Pooran, who had already smashed 75 runs off just 30 balls, was in destructive form. Starc, who had been expensive in his earlier overs, came back strongly.
He bowled a full delivery at 140 kmph, targeting the stumps. The ball seamed in slightly after pitching, but Pooran went deep in his crease, cleared his front leg, and tried to slog across the line. However, he missed it completely, and the ball rattled the stumps, sending them on a long journey.
This was exactly why Starc was brought back into the attack. His wicket of Pooran was a much-needed breakthrough, as the West Indian batter was looking unstoppable.

Nicholas Pooran’s Explosive Knock Comes to an End
Before his dismissal, Pooran had played a stunning innings, smashing six fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 250.00. He dominated the bowlers and pushed LSG towards a big total. However, with his departure, LSG lost a huge opportunity to post an even bigger score.
After 17.2 overs, Lucknow Super Giants are at 180 for 6. David Miller and Shahbaz Ahmed are at the crease, trying to finish strong. However, with both Pooran and Mitchell Marsh back in the pavilion, LSG will have to adjust their approach in the final overs. Starc’s fiery spell has given his team a chance to pull things back and restrict LSG before they go past the 200-run mark.
