Guess who’s back? You might know him as Daniel Jarvis, the British prankster who made a name for himself by invading pitches during the India vs England series in 2021. Well, he has now travelled all the way from England to India and made his grand entrance at the 2023 World Cup in Chennai during the India vs Australia match.
In Chennai this time, Jarvo pulled off a double invasion, first when the match was about to begin at MA Chidambaram Stadium. He barged onto the field, engaged in a brief exchange with former Indian captain Virat Kohli, but Chennai’s ground staff forcibly escorted him off. However, he managed to sneak back onto the field, and this time, wicket-keeper KL Rahul was the one who sent him packing.
