Afghanistan pacer Naveen Ul Haq found himself on the receiving end of boos and fan hostility once again during the World Cup 2023 match being played at Dharamsala’s Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.
Naveen Ul Haq was fielding near the boundary against Bangladesh when some section of fans sitting behind him started screaming “Kohli, Kohli,” and dropping cheeky one-liners to get under his skin, in reference to his previous heated exchange with Virat Kohli during the IPL 2023.
Naveen-ul-Haq will be up against Virat Kohli when Afghanistan will lock horns with India in their second match of the ICC World Cup 2023 on Wednesday, October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
