Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar believes that Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir should be awarded the Oscar Award after both reconciled during the RCB versus KKR match in IPL 2024.
Contrary to expectations, the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders, Gautam Gambhir, and the former skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli, were seen hugging each other and shaking hands.
After whatever happened in the last IPL 2023 season, everyone was expecting another face-off between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. However, the two legendary players showed wisdom and reconciled.
Amidst these events, Ravi Shastri, commenting on air, advocated for KKR to be granted a Fair Play Award for their actions. Meanwhile, Sunil Gavaskar proposed that the duo should receive an Oscar.
Speaking of the game, KKR won the toss and chose to bowl first. RCB posted 182 runs for the loss of six wickets, with Virat Kohli top-scoring with 83 runs from 59 balls.
