IPL 2025: RCB Fans Abuse Nehal Wadhera After PBKS Win, Harpreet Brar Shares Clip

Nehal Wadhera revealed that RCB fans abused him online after his match-winning knock against Bengaluru.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) faced off in an exciting IPL 2025 match at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Both teams are performing well this season, and fans were looking forward to a thrilling contest. In the end, it was Punjab Kings who walked away with a five-wicket win.

Punjab Kings chased a tricky total successfully, and young Nehal Wadhera played a big role in that victory. He scored a quick 33 off just 19 balls, hitting important boundaries under pressure. His calm batting helped PBKS collect two more points and move to 10 points on the points table. RCB, meanwhile, stayed on 8 points.

However, Nehal Wadhera’s performance didn’t go down well with some RCB fans. In a story shared on Instagram by Punjab Kings’ player Harpreet Brar, the team can be seen heading back to their hotel in the bus. In the background, Nehal can be heard saying, “Gaali bak rahe hai voh comment me,” hinting that RCB fans were abusing him in the comment section on social media.

If true, this behaviour once again shows the toxic side of IPL fan culture. It’s become common for some fans to abuse players of rival teams when they perform well against their side. This is not the first time such an incident has come to light.

Cricket is a competitive sport, but crossing the line and abusing players over a game is not acceptable. Players give their best on the field and deserve respect, no matter which team they are playing for. Targeting someone personally for doing their job is unfair and hurtful.
