In the second over, a delivery from Azmatullah Omarzai brushed the inside edge of Rohit’s bat, striking his pads. Despite the batsman taking a single, the umpire ruled it as a leg-bye, provoking a visible reaction from Rohit.
“Hey Viru (Virender Sharma), did you give the first ball as thigh pad – It clearly touched the bat. I have already dismissed for 0 twice,” Rohit was caught on the stump mic.
