Donovan Ferreira, the dynamic batter for Joburg Super Kings, has etched his name in SA20 history by surpassing Heinrich Klaasen’s record, hitting the longest six of the tournament.
Ferreira pulled off a stunner against the Capitals, crushing the 16.4th delivery from speedster Hardus Viljoen for a massive 106-metre six. He outdid Klaasen‘s 105-metre record set earlier that day against Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

Ferreira set the stage on fire, slamming the quickest fifty in tournament history with a blistering 18-ball rampage. He finished unbeaten with 56 off 20 balls, including seven boundaries and three sixes, as Joburg Super Kings breezed through the 168-run target in just 18 overs.
