Gautam Gambhir, mentor to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was given a festive welcome at Kolkata Airport as he geared up to join the team for the highly anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
Gautam Gambhir, who had been mentoring the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) since 2020, will now return to his former team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, where he previously led the team to two IPL titles, to serve as a mentor.
Having missed out on the playoffs since 2021, the Kolkata Knight Riders are banking on Gautam Gambhir’s mentorship to steer them towards success and reclaim their spot among the IPL elite this season.
