The Madhya Pradesh captain and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star, Rajat Patidar lit up the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024-25 final against Mumbai.

Patidar’s unbeaten knock of 81 runs off just 40 balls was a display of pure class and power hitting. However, one shot in the final over of MP’s innings stole the limelight and left the crowd in awe.

The No-Look Hook That Stunned Everyone

Facing Shardul Thakur, known for his deceptive short balls, Patidar pulled off a jaw-dropping no-look six. Thakur bowled a sharp bouncer, aiming to catch the batter off guard.

Patidar, however, moved across the crease, giving the impression of a lap shot. But in a moment of sheer brilliance, he adjusted mid-delivery and unleashed a no-look hook.

Without even looking at the ball, Patidar sent it flying over deep backward square leg for a massive six. The crowd erupted in cheers, celebrating the audacious shot.
