[Watch] RIFT! Arrogant Hardik Pandya Ignores Kieron Pollard After MI’s Another Defeat in IPL 2025

Hardik Pandya walked past Kieron Pollard without responding after Mumbai Indians' loss to LSG.

Mumbai Indians (MI) suffered their third defeat of IPL 2025, this time going down to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 12 runs in a high-scoring thriller at the Ekana Stadium.

Chasing a massive target of 204 runs, MI fell short despite a strong middle-order effort from Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 67 off 43 balls. Naman Dhir also chipped in with a fiery 46 off 24 deliveries.

However, Mumbai’s innings lost momentum in the final few overs, especially after Tilak Varma got retired out after struggling to score quickly.

Captain Hardik Pandya, who remained not out on 28 from 16 balls, fought till the last over but couldn’t take his team over the line. It was a tough end for Hardik, who had earlier created history by becoming the first-ever captain to take a five-wicket haul in the IPL.

His bowling effort kept LSG from reaching an even bigger score, but the batting lineup couldn’t finish the job in the end.

After the match, a video started going viral on social media showing Kieron Pollard, Mumbai Indians’ batting coach, walking up to Hardik Pandya for what looked like a chat.

However, the MI skipper appeared to ignore him completely, not even acknowledging his presence, and continued walking towards the dugout. The moment sparked fresh debate online, with fans questioning if something is wrong between the two or if Hardik’s attitude is becoming a concern within the team environment.
