Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Rinku Singh visited the Mumbai Indians (MI) dressing room after their IPL 2025 match at Wankhede Stadium on Monday, April 1. He was spotted asking Rohit Sharma for one of his bats. Mumbai Indians shared a video of this moment on their social media accounts on Wednesday.
In the video, MI’s Tilak Varma joked that Rinku already had good bats but still wanted Rohit’s. Hardik Pandya also confronted Rinku in a light-hearted manner, asking why he needed the bat. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who plays domestic cricket for Mumbai and represents KKR in the IPL, was also seen holding what seemed like Rohit’s bat.
Rinku’s search for a new bat comes after he earlier borrowed Virat Kohli’s bat but struggled to score runs with it. He now hopes Rohit Sharma’s bat will bring him better luck in the tournament.
