[Watch] Saud Shakeel Loses His Cool, Shouts at Temba Bavuma After Controversial Run-Out in Karachi

A heated moment unfolded in Karachi as Saud Shakeel fiercely celebrated in Temba Bavuma’s face after running him out.

The third ODI between Pakistan and South Africa at the National Stadium in Karachi turned heated after a dramatic run-out involving South Africa’s captain, Temba Bavuma. The moment not only shifted the momentum of the match but also sparked an intense reaction from Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel, who aggressively celebrated right in Bavuma’s face as he walked off.

Temba Bavuma Run-Out Sparks Heated Celebration

South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first. Bavuma, who has been in excellent form, was anchoring the innings and looked set for a big score. However, in the 29th over, a misjudged single led to his downfall.

Bavuma played a length ball towards backward point and set off for a quick run. However, his partner hesitated, leaving him stranded in the middle of the pitch. Saud Shakeel, positioned at backward point, reacted quickly, collected the ball, and fired a direct hit at the stumps. The third umpire confirmed Bavuma was well short of his crease, dismissing him for 82 runs—just 18 runs short of a century.

As soon as the decision was given, Pakistan’s fielders erupted in celebration. However, it was Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam who took it a step further. Shakeel aggressively celebrated in front of Bavuma.
