[Watch] Team India Players Strike Stunning Poses as They Engage in Photoshoot Ahead of ICC World Cup 2023
Team India will face Australia in their opening game of the World Cup 2023 at Ahmedabad
The eagerly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023 kicks off in less than a week, featuring the opening match between reigning champions England and the last edition’s runner-up, New Zealand, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Notably, for the very first time, India is hosting the 50-overs World Cup on its own soil, and this could be their golden chance to put an end to their prolonged ICC trophy drought by utilising the favourable home conditions to their advantage.
Team India had initially scheduled two warm-up matches before kicking off their World Cup journey against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
However, their first warm-up match against England was washed out due to rain, with not a single ball bowled. Their second warm-up match against Australia is still set to take place on October 3 in Thiruvananthapuram.
In the lead-up to that, the Indian cricket team players were involved in a photo session for the ICC World Cup 2023, and the resulting video has quickly become a sensation on social media.
The video sees the Indian captain Rohit Sharma, wicket-keeper KL Rahul, the versatile player Suryakumar Yadav, along with Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, thoroughly enjoying the entire photo shoot.
