ICC World Cup 2023: Pakistan Team to Receive Visas for India on September 25

Pakistan is the only team among the nine yet to receive its visas

The ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 is just days away, and there’s anticipation that the Pakistan cricket team will get their visas for the prestigious event in India on Monday, September 25.

As reported by ESPNcricinfo, Pakistan is the only team among the nine yet to receive its visas. Sources have also revealed that the Babar Azam-led side is scheduled to travel to Dubai first and then take a flight to Hyderabad, India, where they will face New Zealand in a warm-up match on September 29.

Travel arrangements for players between the two countries have historically been problematic due to diplomatic tensions between their governments. Pakistan and India have refrained from participating in bilateral series across all formats since the 2012-13 season.
