IND vs ENG: Shubman Gill Hits 10th International Century, Joins Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli in Elite Club

Shubman Gill played an 104 runs innings to mark is 10th international century

Shubman Gill finally broke the shackles, hitting a magnificent century against England in the second innings of the ongoing second test at Visakhapatnam on Sunday, January 4.

Gill spent 10 innings batting at number three before this Test, having started his career as an opener. Despite high hopes from fans and pundits due to his 2023 ODI form, he didn’t live up to expectations until this game.

Gill had a stroke of luck as he started his innings. Initially called out LBW by Tom Hartley, a review showed a faint edge before hitting the pads. His good fortune persisted with England’s missed LBW decision and Joe Root dropping a catch to his left in the slips.
