IND vs SL: India Beat Sri Lanka by 371 Runs To Record Biggest Win In ODI History
India’s previous biggest victory by a margin of runs was its 257-run victory over Bermuda during the 2007 T20 WC.

Team India shattered the record for the largest victory (by runs) in ODIs as they decimated Sri Lanka by 317 runs in the third and final match of the series in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, January 15.
The Men in Blue rode on hundreds from Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill to post a mammoth total of 390 runs on the board in the stipulated 50 overs. Mohammed Siraj then picked a five-wicket haul as India bowled out Sri Lanka for a paltry 73 runs in 22 overs.
This was the largest win in terms of runs by a team in the One Day Internationals. The previous best was held by New Zealand, who thrashed Ireland by 290 runs in 2008.

As for the series, India inflicted an easy clean sweep over Sri Lanka. They won the series opener by 67 runs despite Dasun Shanka’s century while KL Rahul propelled the hosts to a four-wicket victory in the second ODI. India will now face New Zealand in a three-match ODI series.
