India vs South Africa, T20 World Cup 2022: David Miller & Aiden Markram stitched a match-winning partnership of 176 runs help SA decimate IND.

India vs South Africa Highlights: South Africa’s clinical bowling performance followed by David Miller’s stupendous half-century knock saw the Proteas outclass India by five wickets in a low-scoring affair on Sunday, October 30 at Perth Stadium.

Chasing the target of 134 runs, South Africa got off to a horrendous start as they lost their star wicketkeeper batter, Quinton de Kock for just one run. Rilee Rossouw soon followed him back to the pavilion after scoring a two-ball duck.

The Men in Blue reduced the Proteas to 24/3 before the duo of Aiden Markram and David Miller took the batting charge and shifted the entire momentum in South Africa’s favour.

While Markram played a steady and sensible knock of 52 runs off 41 balls, Miller remained unbeaten for an unbeaten 55 off 44 deliveries as South Africa chased down the total in 19.4 overs.

For India, Arshdeep Singh picked two wickets, while the likes of Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Mohammad Shami picked a wicket each.

Opting to bat first, India got off to a horrible start courtesy of South Africa’s sensational bowling, as they reduced the Blues to 49/5 in 8.3 overs before Suryakumar Yadav launched an attack with the bat.

For South Africa, Lungi Ngidi starred with the ball as he picked up a four-wicket haul while conceding 29 runs in his four overs spell while Wayne Parnell bagged a three-wicket haul, giving away just 15 runs in his four overs quota.
