International League T20 2025

The 2025 edition of the International League T20 (ILT20) will be the third season of this exciting 20-over cricket tournament. Hosted by the Emirates Cricket Board, the tournament will begin on January 11, 2025, with the final set to be played on February 9, 2025.

In this edition, six teams will be competing for the title. These teams are Sharjah Warriorz, Gulf Giants, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (owned by Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan), Dubai Capitals (owned by the same group that owns Delhi Capitals in the IPL), MI Emirates (owned by the same group as Mumbai Indians), and Desert Vipers. 

The tournament will take place at three major stadiums: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium, and Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The format of the tournament is similar to the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

The top two teams will face off in Qualifier 1, while the teams finishing in third and fourth place will play in the Eliminator. The winner of Qualifier 1 will move directly to the final, while the loser of Qualifier 1 will face the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 to determine who makes it to the final.

In the previous seasons, MI Emirates won the title in 2024, defeating Dubai Capitals in the final, while Gulf Giants Emerged victorious in 2023, beating Desert Vipers.
