After the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals, Virat gave a special gift to Rajasthan Royals young cricketer Rahul Tewatia.
Tewatia was so happy that he changed his WhatsApp DP (display photo). Tewatia has impressed with his hard-hitting in this ongoing tournament so far. Against RCB, he hit 24* off just 12 deliveries, during this time he hit three sixes.
Tewatia had hit five sixes in an over against Sheldon Cottrell in a match against Kings XI Punjab, thus snatching the victory from the jaws of the opposing team.
Kohli gifted his signed jersey to Tewatia. Rajasthan Royals shared this photo on their official Instagram and wrote, ‘Rahul’s new WhatsApp DP.’
Virat returned to his fantastic form with this match and scored a 72* off just 53 deliveries to lead RCB to victory. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bat first against RCB and then scored 154 runs for six wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, RCB scored 158 runs after losing two wickets in 19.1 overs and won the match by 8 wickets and reached the top of the IPL point table after the win, followed by Delhi Capitals who won against Kolkata Knight Riders and topped the point table and RCB slipped to the second position.
