IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals (DC) Trade Shardul Thakur to KKR For Aman Khan
Delhi Capitals (DC) have traded Shardul Thakur to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in an all-cash deal ahead of IPL 2023 mini-auction.
Delhi Capitals (DC) have traded India all-rounder Shardul Thakur to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023).
DC acquired the services of Thakur in the mega-auction, held in February before IPL 2022 for a whopping amount of INR 10.75 crore.
They have traded him in an all-cash deal but also got Aman Khan in return, who Kolkata Knight Riders had bought in a mega-auction for INR 20 lakh.
Who is Aman Khan?
Aman Khan hails from Mumbai and is known for his brutal hitting skills. The 25-year-old can also bowl useful medium pace.
He made his T20 debut in the 2021-22 season, where he played five matches in the domestic Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Having batted in the lower-middle order mostly, Aman Khan smashed 40 runs at a strike rate of 148.14.
Overall, the right-hander has played 14 T20 matches so far, in which he accumulated 153 runs at an average of 17 and a strike rate of 166.30.
With the ball, he has picked four wickets in 10 innings at an economy of 8.15.
