Delhi Capitals (DC) are reportedly set to release as many as five players ahead of the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
Delhi Capitals had an average campaign in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they finished fifth on the points table after managing seven wins and as many defeats in 14 games.
Their tournament campaign was marred with injuries and a COVID crisis in their camp, however, despite that they fought till the end but failed to make it to the knockouts.
While some players delivered some extraordinary performances and lived up to the expectations, few failed to justify their price tag.
Delhi Capitals, who had got a decent squad in the mega-auction earlier this year will definitely look to for some ‘chopping and changing’ ahead of IPL 2023 mini-auction.
