Andre Russell became the fastest to 200 sixes in the IPL.
In the IPL 2024 clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Eden Gardens, Andre Russell smashed his way to 200 IPL sixes, becoming the fastest player to do so.
With this, the West Indies legend, Russell shattered Chris Gayle’s record by reaching 200 sixes in 1322 balls, overtaking Chris Gayle’s previous milestone, which he achieved in 1811 balls.
The list includes Kieron Pollard (2055), AB de Villiers (2790), MS Dhoni (3126), and Rohit Sharma (3798). Additionally, Virat Kohli, David Warner, and Suresh Raina have also smashed over 200 sixes in the IPL.
