IPL 2024 – Match 36, KKR vs RCB: Mohammed Siraj to Make a Comeback? Royal Challengers Bengaluru Probable Playing 11 vs Kolkata Knight Riders
Mohammed Siraj missed previous match for RCB

The 36th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will have Kolkata Knight Riders hosting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 21st of April, Sunday.
Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis will open the innings for Bengaluru, both of them possess a great backfoot game against pacers but against tweakers, both of them have the habit of slowing down which can be utilised by the opposition.
Jacks & Rajat Patidar Powering the Middle Order Charge
Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar will slot in at number three and four, Jacks will look to take on the pacers against whom he is at his best while Patidar will take the onus of doing the damage in the middle overs.
Saurav Chouhan, Mahipal Lomror and Dinesh Karthik will make up the lower middle order for them. Lomror and Chouhan both have looked decent against pace and destructive against spin.
Paired with Karthik this combination may work because Karthik would shield them from raw pace, while they would take on the spinners which would reduce the load of Karthik.
Bengaluru’s Pace Blitz
Bengaluru is expected to play with an all-out pace attack because of not having a spinner who can withstand the hitting of batters.
Yash Dayal and Reece Topley will again open the bowling for Bengaluru in search of new ball wickets. Both of them are tall and looking for a swing with the new ball and wickets upfront will surely help them compete against Kolkata.
Ferguson Adding Firepower to the Middle and Death
Lockie Ferguson with his hit-the-deck bowling will provide a new dimension to their attack where he will take up the role of bowling in the middle and back end of the innings.
Vijaykumar Vyshak will be his deputy who will look to use his cutters and slower ones in the death phase of the innings.
