Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batting giant, Travis Head made history at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, slamming the quickest century ever for the team, rattling the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowling attack in just 39 balls.
With this, Travis Head, whose knock was etched with nine boundaries and eight sixes, also etched his name in IPL history, claiming the fourth-fastest century record overall and the fastest of the current season.
Upon reaching his century, Travis Head stole the spotlight with a celebratory gesture reminiscent of West Indies legend Chris Gayle, a former RCB player, as he removed his helmet and put it on his bat.
Eventually, Travis Head got dismissed for 102 runs from 41 balls. He now has 235 runs from five matches at an average of 47 and a strike rate of 200.
